“IngentaConnect is a website that hosts scholarly books and journals from a range of different publishers.” Millions of articles, chapters and reports are available for you to search across for free, but access to full text is only available by pay-per-view or by subscription to individual publications. If you are not recognized as having access to a publication, check your library to see if the article is available in print or other online sources or via interlibrary loan.
International Boundaries News Database
University of Durham’s International Boundaries Research Unit (IBRU) provides a searchable “Boundary news database” with 10,000+ boundary-related reports from a wide range of news sources around the world dating from 1991 to approximately six months before the current date.
A web gateway to development information from over 7,500 development organizations. Includes full-text documents with summaries. Eldis also includes resource guides and country profiles. Also good for environmental topics.
From EBSCO publishing. “A freely accessible research database focusing on the relationship between human beings and the environment…Comprised of scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports.” Includes abstracts and indexing for more than 600 titles with full-text for open access articles.
